Meribel hosts the French Alpine Ski Championships U14
In the heart of the Three Valleys, Meribel is a renowned resort known for its exceptional setting, 600 km of slopes, and highly competitive sports competitions. This year, the resort will welcome young skiers aged 12 and 13 who will compete to become French champions from March 18 to 21. Take advantage of your stay at Hotel Le Tremplin to witness the rise of these future skiing stars.
Four days of competitions
The French U14 Alpine Ski Championships feature the same events as the senior championships. Young skiers will compete in super-G, giant slalom, special slalom, and parallel events. An unofficial discipline will be added this year: the KO Sprint slalom. These competitions will take place at the same venues that saw the world's greatest champions compete last year: the Corbey stadium, a five-minute walk from Hotel Le Tremplin, and the bottom of the Roc de Fer slope.
All the pleasures of Meribel
During the four days of the competition, the resort will pulsate at a special rhythm. However, you will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy all the other benefits of the resort. The ski area remains fully accessible, and you can catch a glimpse of the skiers in full race from your chairlift before launching yourself onto the slopes. You can also indulge in moments of intense relaxation by the pool at Hotel du Tremplin or in its wellness area.
The season promises to be exciting once again in Meribel, with major sporting events scheduled, such as the French U14 Alpine Ski Championships taking place from March 18 to 21, 2024. Be sure to book your stay at Hotel Le Tremplin quickly!
