A scenic golf course up in the mountains…
The last patches of snow are melting away and the high meadows are blooming again. Spring is now bestowing its bounty on Méribel. Among the many activities offered by the Trois Vallées during the warmer weather, today we invite you to partake in a round of golf. During your stay at the Hotel Le Tremplin, come and show off your swing in the midst of an exceptional landscape!
A unique course…
On the slopes of the Dent du Burgin, alongside the altiport, between forest and high meadows, the Golf de Méribel has been a feature of the landscape since 1966. It was born from the passion of one man, the Scottish war hero Peter Lindsay, who installed the first four holes there. It was then redesigned by some big names in golf course design: Géry Watine, Thierry Sprecher and Hugues Lambert. This 18-hole course spreads out over 35 hectares, more than 5,500 metres and 250 metres of vertical drop, following the contours of the land and including natural elements as part of the challenge, to the delight of golfers.
…demanding and welcoming
Its perfect inclusion in its natural setting makes the Golf de Méribel a demanding technical and sporting test. Even the most experienced golfers will find something to satisfy their thirst for a challenge. However, the course is also open to beginners and younger people. It has 1,100 m² of putting green, a driving range with 40 posts, 10 of which are covered for rainy days, a chipping green and a bunker. In addition, courses for families or individuals are offered throughout the summer.
Enchanting in winter, the mountains emanate a beautiful energy during the summer. Settle in at the Hotel Le Tremplin for an invigorating and relaxing holiday. And take advantage of the proximity of the Golf de Méribel to work on your swing and your putting!
