From February 5th to 19th, 2023, Méribel and its neighbour Courchevel host the Alpine World Ski Championships. Don't miss the best downhillers and slalomers in the world of skiing as they vie for supremacy on the slopes of the area. Make yourself comfortable at the Hotel Le Tremplin and enjoy the intense excitement of a grand sporting occasion at your own pace!
A jam-packed programme
Take the time to enjoy a few runs on the slopes or an indulgent wellness session at the Spa of the Hôtel du Tremplin, then head to Méribel for the Women's Combined that opens the competition. This will be an opportunity to see the prodigiously skilled Mickaela Shiffrin, Petra Vlhova and Federica Brignone compete. A few days later, on February 8th, our beautiful resort will host the Women's Super G, and then the Women's Downhill on February 11th. The Giant and Ladies Slalom events will follow. And if you prefer to attend the men's events, just take the short trip to Courchevel.
And outside of the competitions?
The World Championships are not just a sporting event. They are surrounded by a host of entertainment and activities that give our resort an added buzz of excitement. Each day of the event, the Spectator Village will be offering cultural shows, artistic wanderings, yoga and dance classes, rock concerts, folk groups, brass bands and batucada. You will also find a bar and a catering service where you can meet up with other ski enthusiasts. Don't miss the training sessions, which can be as impressive as the races, and the very moving medal ceremonies.
